It’s #worldwildlifeday! 🐢🌊☀️ Did you know Sea Turtle nesting season began March 1st? The Palm Beaches have more sea turtle nests per mile than anywhere else in the United States. Let’s do our part to help local sea turtles, like this little hatchling we met at a MacArthur Beach clean up last year. 💚
Last year the Loggerhead Marinelife Center reported that 100% of post-hatchlings who were admitted to their Sea Turtle Hospital had ingested plastic. By decreasing and eliminating our use of single-use plastic we can help. You can also help by removing debris from our beaches. Volunteer to lend a helping hand at an upcoming beach cleanup, and keep our beaches clean so wildlife can flourish.
