Helping the Homeless in Palm Beach County

On any given night, hundreds of individuals and families are homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless, in Palm Beach County. Since 1986, the Homeless Coalition in West Palm Beach has been the voice of those who are homeless in our community. The Homeless Coalition runs an impressive operation that helps locals that are homeless get back on their feet. Within just 90 days of people suffering from homelessness checking in, approximately 70% of them have jobs and are well on their way to getting back on the right track.

This weekend volunteers gathered at the Homeless Coalition's Re-store Room to help sort donations and restock their facility. The Re-Store Room is a place where people who are homeless can come and shop for clothes, food, home products, and much more.
